As someone who’s been living and teaching Youniforms for the past six years, it hasn’t escaped my notice that I tend to overcomplicate it. At the end of the day, it’s still just ONE formula for me — a dress that skims my body without squeezing, and a cardigan. All of my Youniforms are essentially some version of this very basic outfit combination.
In this post I show you exactly how I do this with 4 dresses, 4 cardigans, and 4 scarves to build a total of 64 different unique outfits.
And adding just one slightly different piece explodes that number to 80.
It works because the cardigans are literally the same exact style from the same brand — and all of my choices are from my wardrobe color palette.

80 Outfits in One Minute
I want to show you how easy this is — no matter your style, needs, or color preferences. So I created 4 different Youniforms using current items available at Chico’s for the upcoming season.
One for each color season, with a different lifestyle category for each:
- Spring: Dresses
- Summer: Work/Professional
- Autumn: Community Casual
- Winter: Casual at Home

Ready for the Complete System?
The Youniform™ Framework was designed to eliminate wardrobe overwhelm for good. In Youniform, I guide you step-by-step through building a repeatable system that makes getting dressed effortless so you can stop shopping, stop second-guessing, and start living.
Dresses Youniform for Spring Coloring
Youniform Configuration: Dress + Cardigan + Scarf
Colors: Off-white, beige, coral, aqua, yellow

The dress silhouettes are sleeveless or nearly sleeveless — loose and body-skimming for easy warm weather wearing. The cardigans are all the Summer Romance style, in two neutrals, a color, and a print. The scarves are mostly solids, with one wild printed pop just for fun.
Work/Professional Youniform for Summer Coloring
Youniform Configuration: Pants + Tee + Blazer
Colors: Blues, grays, green, lilac

For this Youniform I took a bit more liberty with the pants, sticking to a general straight silhouette but varying the lengths. The top is a simple 3/4 sleeve tee with a crew neckline — an easy, polished base. The blazer was a surprise love for me: a knit style that is light and cotton-cozy. I cannot wait to get a couple more of those for myself!
Community Casual Youniform for Autumn Coloring
Youniform Configuration: Pants + Tank + Ruana
Colors: Beige, olive, burgundy, yellow

These pants are so much fun — casual cropped styling in chino and denim fabrics. The ruana is really the star of this Youniform, bringing in all the color and print over simple solid tanks underneath.
Casual-at-Home Youniform for Winter Coloring
Youniform Configuration: Shorts + Tee + Button-Down
Colors: Black, white, pink, emerald

The shorts keep you cool with slight variations in design, all falling around the same length. The tees follow a print concept, with a solid fuchsia outlier that makes up for it with unique sleeve detailing. Wear the button-down open, sized down, with the sleeves rolled up — it’s what makes the whole outfit look complete and intentional.
It still blows my mind that 12 simple pieces can create 64 unique outfits — all clothes you genuinely love to wear, essentially just beautiful duplicates of your one favorite thing. No more staring at a full closet feeling like you have nothing to wear. No more decision fatigue before your day even starts. Just a wardrobe that works, every single time.
